You do not need experience or a belief in ghosts. You only need curiosity, respect and a willingness to question what happens around you.
Dress for the location
Wear comfortable enclosed shoes and layered clothing. Historic venues can be cold, uneven and darker than expected.
Bring curiosity—not expectations
Nobody can guarantee paranormal activity. Quiet moments and natural explanations are part of genuine investigation.
Listen to the briefing
The team will explain safety, restricted areas, equipment handling and how sessions will run before the investigation begins.
Protect the evidence
Avoid whispering, unexplained movement or touching equipment without announcing it. Contamination can make otherwise interesting evidence unusable.
Respect people and place
Every venue represents real lives and real history. HSPQ expects respectful behaviour towards the site, other guests and the stories being explored.

Will equipment be provided?
Equipment availability varies by event, but HSPQ investigations are designed to introduce guests to genuine investigation methods.
Will I definitely experience something?
No genuine investigator can promise that. An uneventful session is still a valid result.
Can I attend alone?
Yes. Many guests arrive alone and investigate within managed groups.
Can I take photographs?
Usually, subject to venue rules and the briefing given on the night.
